I’ve spent my life and career around CPR and First Aid, from lifeguarding to majoring in physical education and working in a clinical setting. I noticed a need for professional CPR training, so I started Vital CPR to help people get the certifications they need.
My classes are thorough, friendly, and efficient. Each course meets all American Heart Association standards, but I also tailor each class to your needs. Whether you’re a newbie or have been doing this for years, I will make the class engaging and informative.

If you are taking a class in order to meet a workplace requirement, it is important you ask your employer the exact name of the class you need.
Generally, Basic Life Support (BLS) is intended for those in the healthcare setting directly working with patients; First Aid CPR and AED is generally for work-sites, safety personnel, caregivers, school staff, and staff working in a medical setting but do not provide direct patient care, or anyone who would like training in these skills. Pediatric First Aid CPR and AED is for meeting the regulatory requirement for child care workers.
Yes! If you are a group or business, I can come to your location. I will bring my equipment and run the class at your location for your convenience. I would need to have a minimum of three students or the equivalent compensation if the minimum number of three is not met. Please contact me to set up a time that works best!

Yes! You may choose to do Blended Learning for any of the American Heart Association classes I offer. Simply complete the chosen American Heart Association course on the AHA website (links below). When this online portion is completed, you may send me a copy of your certificate from the online portion pdf or print it and bring it with you for the skills portion with me. You will then receive your American Heart Association card on completion of the skills portion with me.

The Blended Learning option is a flexible way for students to receive their American Heart Association course completion cards without attending a full in-person class. The instruction portion of the class is done online and the skills portion is done with the instructor at an agreed upon time. The skills portion with the instructor usually takes about 30-45 minutes.
Simply complete the chosen American Heart Association course on the AHA website (links below). When this online portion is completed, you may send me a copy of your certificate from the online portion pdf or print it and bring it with you for the skills portion with me. You will then receive your American Heart Association card on completion of the skills portion with me.

I am an aligned instructor with the American Heart Association. Only aligned instructors are allowed to teach American Heart Association Courses.

Full refunds are given for cancellations beyond a week before class is scheduled. Cancellations within the seven-day window before class will be refunded only half the class cost. Sorry, no refunds once the class has started.
